Picked from the Watervale vineyard, this wine offers generous amounts of silken dark fruits, intense cherry & eucalyptus aromatics & a rustic complexity. A bright wine on the nose, with bramble, purple fruits, spice and a violet floral trim. A commanding entry on the palate, with concentrated brambles and plums, deep woven spice, pretty floral detailing and a super fine but chewy tannin profile. A long and firm finish. Picked at optimum ripeness from the Watervale vineyard and matured in French oak, this wine shows the elegance and restraint of this cool site.
