Description
The Louis Roederer Brut Nature 2015 is a zero-dosage (0 g/L) vintage champagne created in collaboration with designer Philippe Starck. Sourced from the La Riviere estate vineyards in Cumieres on clay-rich soils, it is a field blend of 46% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Noir and 17% Meunier, with 23% of the wines aged in oak and no malolactic fermentation undertaken. Aged on lees before release, it shows a pale yellow colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose reveals precise notes of citrus peel, baked apple, vanilla and nougat, while the palate balances ripe fruit breadth with chalky mineral tension and savoury complexity. The finish is long, energetic and dry, reflecting the house’s pursuit of purity and terroir expression. Bottled at 12% ABV, this vintage Brut Nature is both immediate and ageworthy, evolving further complexity with careful cellaring and best served well chilled alongside seafood or poultry..
