"This is a sensational Art Series Cab. It is certainly my favorite vintage for a long while, and it all kicks off with the most sensitive of perfumes. It is all in perfect harmony, and I sense this wine has astounding potential. While I haven’t scored any wines in this review on purpose, a couple of the bottles at this masterclass had me reaching for 19/20 scores, and this was one of them."

"Lovely colour, deep, dark and very youthful. Complex and lifted aromas of bramble, dried herbs, cassis, wild thyme, cedar and tobacco. Dark, inky and concentrated in flavour. Blackberry, briar, satsuma plum, creamy oak and spice are all at play. Layered, complex, mouth-filling and with plenty of classic Margaret River cabernet qualities. The tannins are firm, textured and shapely and the acidity has precise cut and drive. Sophisticated, multi-faceted and delicious"

"A stylish and poised cabernet from a year that was kind to most cabernet regions. The texture has been built in with 100% barrel fermentation and nine months in oak. Blackcurrant and cracked seashell graphite character control the nose. The palate is still quite firm held by the chalky tannins are fine and precise. A nice lick of oak with some nice bay leaf and black olive nuances. Stacks up rather well."
