Description
The Misha's Vineyard The Gallery Gewurztraminer 2024 is a vibrant, aromatic expression of Central Otago’s Bendigo subregion, crafted to showcase the variety’s exotic perfume and textural depth while retaining freshness and balance. Sourced from estate-grown vines on free-draining schist soils, the fruit was hand-harvested at full ripeness and gently whole-bunch pressed before cool fermentation to preserve its delicate aromatics. Bottled in an off-dry style, the wine opens with an intensely perfumed bouquet of lychee, white rose, jasmine and spring flowers, layered with fresh ginger, pear and apple. The palate is rich yet precise, showing juicy white-fleshed fruit and exotic spice supported by vibrant acidity and a fine, textural mouthfeel. A subtle thread of dried herbs and floral notes carries through to a long, gently spicy finish. Beautifully balanced and immediately appealing, The Gallery is a benchmark Gewurztraminer that will drink well on release but has the structure to develop further nuance through to 2030.
