    • Description

Mount Edward, established in 1997 by Alan Brady in Central Otago, is an organic pioneer crafting wines with native yeasts and low sulphur. Their 2023 Pet-Nat Chenin Blanc comes from estate vines, whole-bunch pressed and wild fermented in stainless steel before bottling with residual fermentation to create a naturally sparkling, slightly cloudy wine. Off-dry and around 12.5% ABV, it delivers ripe pear, apple and white flower aromas, with a hint of honeyed richness. The palate is refreshing and fruit-forward, offering juicy grape and citrus balanced by crisp acidity and a savoury lees note. Vegan-friendly and unfiltered, it is perfect for casual gatherings and should be chilled well before opening.
