    • Description

The Nautilus Pinot Gris 2024 is a finely balanced expression of Marlborough Pinot Gris, crafted to deliver both aromatic purity and textural complexity. Fruit from select vineyard sites was harvested at peak ripeness and fermented predominantly in stainless steel to retain freshness and varietal character, with a small portion fermented in seasoned oak to build subtle depth. Lees contact for around four months added weight and texture without compromising the wine’s vibrant profile. Bottled at 13.0% ABV, it shows a pale straw colour and an expressive bouquet of ripe pear, quince, honeysuckle and ginger, lifted by citrus zest and floral notes. The palate is medium-bodied and dry, offering layers of orchard fruit and gentle spice supported by bright acidity and a creamy lees-derived texture. The finish is long, precise and refreshing, making this a versatile white that pairs beautifully with seafood, pork, roast poultry or mushroom risotto.
