Description
Prunotto Moscato d'Asti 2024 is a finely crafted example of Piedmont's most expressive aromatic style, capturing freshness, perfume and balance in equal measure. Made from 100% Moscato Bianco (Muscat di Canelli) grown on hillside vineyards, the grapes are hand-harvested early to preserve vibrant aromatics and natural acidity. After gentle pressing, fermentation occurs in stainless steel and is arrested at around 5% ABV to retain residual sugar and primary fruit character. Pale straw with a fine, persistent mousse, it opens with lifted aromas of orange blossom, white peach, honeysuckle and fresh sage, with subtle hints of citrus peel and acacia. The palate is light, silky and gently effervescent, delivering layers of ripe stone fruit, mandarin and floral notes balanced by crisp acidity that keeps the sweetness lively and refreshing. Best enjoyed young, this Moscato is a versatile choice with fruit tarts, panna cotta, soft cheeses or as an elegant aperitif, and will show at its best within three to five years of release.
