A short maturation in seasoned French oak imparts a gentle structure without masking the varietal's hallmark juiciness. Bottled under screwcap at 14% ABV, the wine is purple-hued and exuberant, with lively aromas of blackberry, blueberry, dark plum and a hint of violets. The palate is medium-bodied, soft and round, delivering ripe fruit, subtle spice, and velvety tannins.
