Description
Off-dry aromatic Pinot Gris from Motueka, next door to the scenic adventure playground of the Abel Tasman National Park. Rich fertile soils surrounding the township, coupled with balmy sea breezes and some of New Zealand's consistently highest sunshine readings are the ideal climate in which to craft aromatic wines. The wine has an intense nose with spicy aromas and rich fruits. Ginger, star anise, pear and ripe peaches. A silky mouthfeel due to a bit of residual sugar. The flavours linger, carried by a refreshing salinity.
