Vintage after vintage, the Collection wines have become symbols which perfectly illustrate the family’s ethos of supreme quality. Careful ageing, together with the meticulous attention paid every day by Marcel and Philippe Guigal to the selection and blending processes, bring to the fore the consistency and excellence of the great appellations of the Rhône Valley
Vibrant dark red with a touch of cerise. The bouquet is quite savoury with hints of red plum, pepper and graphite and it is full-bodied and juicy in the palate with fine tannins, underlying savoury notes, loads of pepper and plum stone. Made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre, it has more of a winey sweetness than a distinctive fruit sweetness and the lingering finish is velvety and long.
