    • Description

The Palliser Rose 2024 is a finely tuned expression of Martinborough Pinot Noir, crafted in a dry, elegant style that emphasises freshness, texture and varietal purity. Made from 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir, the fruit was gently pressed with minimal skin contact to achieve a delicate hue and refined aromatics, followed by a cool stainless steel fermentation to preserve vibrancy. A brief period on lees contributes subtle weight and a satin-like texture without diminishing the wine's precision. Bottled under screwcap at 13.5% ABV, it opens with lifted aromas of wild strawberry, red melon and rose petal, layered with hints of red apple and a saline mineral note. The palate is crisp and finely balanced, offering bright berry and melon flavours framed by lively acidity and ultra-fine tannins, leading to a refreshing, dry finish. Vibrant and expressive on release, this rose is ideal as an aperitif or alongside seafood, summer salads and charcuterie, and will drink well through the summer of 2027.
