Description
Dark, deepish golden-yellow colour with some depth, pale on rim, with persistent, moderately fine bubble. This has a full, broad nose with deep, complex aromas of yellow stonefruits and bready autolysis interwoven with dense aldehyde and nutty oxidative elements.
Dry and fullish-bodied, this features powerful citrus and stonefruit flavours in a complex amalgam of yeasty autolysis, nuts and aldehydes. Racy acidity provides good cut to the mouthfilling flavours and lends firmness, drive and length. A full-flavoured, firm and crisp sparkling wine to match with seafood and poultry.
