    • Description

Iconic single-vineyard Pinot Noir of the highest standard. A wine of precision and "unforced masculinity", the Tinker's is drawn from Rippon's oldest vines in rocky schist soils, on the gentle slopes next to Lake Wanaka. Family owned, biodynamically grown and made with the utmost care and expertise, this is an elegant and simply wonderful Pinot to decant of cellar for some time.

Deeply aromatic, but still youthful and tight. Filled with Cherries, sweet herbs, spices and mineral nuances abound. A seriously profound Pinot Noir, layers upon layers of intense fruits and spices, with the underlying schist tannin of Rippon binding the whole thing together.
