    • Description

Alois Lageder Gaun Chardonnay Dolomiti IGT 2023 is a striking expression of mountain Chardonnay from a family estate rooted in Alto Adige since 1823. Sourced from biodynamically farmed vineyards at 250-500 metres above sea level, the wine reflects both high-altitude freshness and textural depth. Fermented spontaneously with native yeasts and matured partly in large oak casks and stainless steel, Gaun balances clarity and nuance. It offers layered aromas of citrus oil, white peach, and alpine herbs with a savoury edge, finishing long and mineral. A compelling wine for those seeking Chardonnay with energy and authenticity.
