    • Description

Alois Lageder Lindenburg Lagrein Alto Adige DOC 2020 is a biodynamic single-vineyard Lagrein grown on the clay-rich alluvial soils of the Lindenburg site near Bolzano. Crafted by the Lageder family - stewards of Alto Adige viticulture since 1823 - this wine reflects their low-intervention, site-specific philosophy. Grapes are hand-picked and wild-fermented in open-top wooden fermenters before maturation for over a year in large oak casks. The result is a deeply coloured, richly structured Lagrein with notes of black cherry, cocoa, and forest floor, supported by firm tannins and fresh acidity. A bold, cellar-worthy red from a classic terroir.
