    • Description

Bodegas Altanza Dominio de Heredia Rioja 2021 is produced by Altanza, a pioneering estate established in 1998 in Rioja Alta, celebrated for its modern take on classic Spanish winemaking. This 2021 Tempranillo is sourced from estate vineyards in Fuenmayor, where limestone-rich soils and a continental climate shape bright, structured fruit. Grapes are hand-picked and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve purity, then briefly matured in French oak for subtle spice and finesse. The finished wine shows vivid red cherry, fresh plum and a thread of savoury spice, underpinned by silky tannins and a persistent, lively finish. This vintage is approachable young but will reward a few years' cellaring. Pair with grilled chorizo, lamb cutlets, or Manchego cheese. Sealed with natural cork for tradition and authenticity.
