    • Description

Established in 1901 in Haro, the heart of Rioja Alta, Bodegas Bilbaínas is renowned for classic, estate-driven wines rooted in tradition and regional authenticity. The 2020 Ederra Rioja Crianza is crafted primarily from Tempranillo grown on estate vineyards, hand-harvested to preserve optimal freshness and varietal character. Fermentation is conducted in stainless steel, followed by 12 months of maturation in American oak barrels, a hallmark of Rioja, imparting structure and gentle spice. The finished wine displays aromas of red cherry, plum, and vanilla, with a touch of sweet spice and cedar. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and balanced, with fine tannins, lively acidity, and a lingering, harmonious finish - suited to immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
