Description
Bodegas Hidalgo, one of the last family-run producers in Sanlucar, has been shaping Sherry tradition since 1792. The Alameda Cream is a luscious blend of dry Oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximenez, both aged in American oak butts via the solera method. Grapes from the region's chalky soils are vinified with care, with Oloroso matured oxidatively and Pedro Ximenez crafted from sun-dried grapes for a dark, syrupy complexity. These components are blended and further aged, allowing deep integration of caramel, fig, raisin, and toasted nut aromas. Bottled at 17.5% abv, Alameda Cream offers a velvety mouthfeel, with bright acidity counterbalancing the wine's rich sweetness and nutty length. Enjoy slightly chilled as a dessert wine, partner for blue cheese, or simply on its own, showcasing the craftsmanship and layered indulgence that define true Cream Sherry.
