    • Description

"An emblematic vintage of its decade, which stands out for its powerful aromas and wonderful freshness. The fresh fruit aromas of its youth, evoking fresh apricot, kumquat and rhubarb, are remarkably well-preserved. Riper notes of gingerbread and saffron then come to the fore, accentuating its orangey character and adding a great deal of liveliness. Candied notes of quince paste and apricot jam complete the picture. The wine starts out magnificent and surprisingly fresh on the palate, becoming rich, well-structured and incredibly elegant mid-palate. The finish is underpinned by a lovely bitterness, enhancing the persistence and balance of this exceptional vintage.

By immersing you in the universe of this great wine, we are offering a unique and memorable experience which perfectly reflects this timeless vintage. You will be taken on a guided tour of the estate, accompanied by five people of your choice, followed by a tasting of three vintages from the 21st century. We will be delighted to personalise your cherished wine case at your request." - Chateau D'Yquem
