After careful hand-harvesting, the grapes are foot-trodden in traditional granite lagares to ensure gentle yet thorough extraction, before fortification and ageing for about three years in large, seasoned oak vats. Bottled at 19.5% ABV, this Reserve Port combines classic intensity with a modern sense of freshness, revealing aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, dried fig, and subtle spices. The palate is velvety and rich, with layers of dark fruit, cocoa, sweet spice and a lingering, smooth finish, kept lively by natural Douro acidity.
