Description
Graham's, established in 1820 and part of the Symington family group, produces its 10 Year Old Tawny Port from estate vineyards in the Douro Valley, notably Quinta dos Malvedos. Grapes are hand-harvested, with fermentation carried out in stainless steel tanks to retain primary fruit character. The wines are then transferred to seasoned oak casks for oxidative ageing in the Graham's cellars at Vila Nova de Gaia. Over ten years, multiple lots are selected and blended to achieve consistent balance, complexity, and the house’s distinctive, rich style. The resulting port displays amber-tawny colour, aromas of dried fruit, toasted nuts, and subtle orange peel, with a palate that is mellow, moderately sweet, and supported by bright acidity. Bottled at 20% abv under natural cork, Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny is ready to drink on release, either as a chilled aperitif or with desserts and cheese, and does not require decanting.
