Description
Graham’s, established in 1820 and a leading name in the Douro Valley, crafts its Fine Tawny Port from a blend of estate-grown and carefully selected partner vineyard fruit, with a focus on the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior subregions. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness, after which the wines are transferred to seasoned oak casks for two to three years of oxidative ageing in Graham’s cellars at Vila Nova de Gaia. Multiple recent vintages are blended to ensure a consistent house style that is approachable and lively. The finished port is marked by tawny colour, notes of dried fruit, toasted nuts, and caramel, with moderate sweetness and a soft, rounded texture. Bottled at 19% abv under a driven cork, Graham’s Fine Tawny is ready to drink on release, ideal as an aperitif or paired with lighter desserts and cheeses. No decanting required.
