Description
Graham's, founded in 1820 and part of the Symington family group, produces its Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port 2019 from top Douro Superior estate vineyards, particularly Quinta dos Malvedos. Grapes are hand-picked and vinified in stainless steel tanks and granite lagares for optimal extraction of colour and structure. The wine is matured for four to six years in large seasoned oak vats in Graham's cellars at Vila Nova de Gaia, longer than a traditional vintage port, allowing it to soften and become accessible on release. The 2019 LBV is unfiltered and bottled under natural cork, capturing the style and concentration of a vintage port but in a more approachable format. This wine shows deep colour, aromas of dark berries, plum, and spice, with firm tannins, balanced sweetness, and vibrant acidity. Bottled at 20% abv, Graham's LBV 2019 is ready to drink now or can be cellared for further development.
