Description
Graham's, established in 1820 and a leading Douro Valley port house, produces Six Grapes Port using fruit primarily from its own estates, including Quinta dos Malvedos. Grapes are hand-harvested, then fermented in stainless steel tanks and granite lagares to maximise extraction and preserve aromatic intensity. Six Grapes is a reserve ruby style, blended from multiple recent vintages, with a focus on parcels that display the richness and structure suitable for vintage port but selected for earlier drinking. The wine matures in seasoned oak vats for up to two years at Graham's Vila Nova de Gaia cellars before bottling. The resulting port shows a deep, vibrant colour, concentrated dark berry and plum notes, a touch of spice, and well-integrated tannins. Bottled at 19.5% abv under natural cork, Six Grapes is ready to drink on release, ideal with dark chocolate or blue cheese, and does not require decanting.
