Description
The Langmeil Three Gardens Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2023 is a classic Barossa GSM blend that balances fruit purity, spice and structure. Combining 35% Grenache, 34% Shiraz and 31% Mataro, it is sourced from mature vineyards across the region and fermented in small open fermenters before maturing for around 17 months in mostly seasoned French oak, with a small portion of new barrels to add subtle complexity. The wine pours deep crimson with purple edges and opens with bright aromas of raspberry, black cherry and redcurrant layered with rose petal, pepper and dried herbs. The palate is medium-bodied and vibrant, showing juicy red and dark fruit framed by sweet spice, savoury earth and gentle oak. Fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity give shape and length, while a peppery, spice-driven finish lingers on the palate. Approachable on release but structured enough to cellar through 2032, this wine captures the harmony and generosity typical of Barossa GSM blends.
