    • Description

Founded in 1994 by the Dineen family, Mt Maude cultivates high altitude vineyards around Wanaka to express the clarity and minerality of Central Otago. The 2025 Sauvignon Blanc represents one of the region's few examples of this variety, sourced from alpine sites between 300 and 400 metres. Fruit was hand picked and cool fermented in stainless steel to preserve aromatics, with brief lees contact for texture. Bottled under screwcap at 13.5 percent ABV, it presents pale straw hues with aromas of grapefruit, lime, and alpine herbs. The palate is bone dry, displaying citrus precision, taut acidity, and a saline edge. The finish is crisp and lingering, emphasising purity and elevation. Best served chilled with seafood or fresh herbs.
