    • Description

Founded in 2016 by fourth generation distiller Julien in Dunedin, No8 Distillery unites French lineage with New Zealand native botanicals. Horopito Gin, the first creation from the distillery, is produced in copper pot stills named Therese and Jackie, blending eight key botanicals including native Horopito pepper leaf, juniper, citrus peel and coriander seed. Distilled slowly to capture balance and texture, it is bottled at 42 percent ABV. Aromas of juniper, citrus oil and white pepper lead into a dry, spicy palate with precise structure and lingering herbal warmth. The finish is long, clean and mineral, reflecting the marriage of European technique and Otago foraged flora that defines No8's pioneering craft.
