    • Description

Pieropan Amarone della Valpolicella 2018 is the estate's boldest red, crafted with the same commitment to clarity and terroir expression that defines their whites. Made from hand-harvested Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Croatina grapes from the Monti Garbi vineyard, the fruit undergoes traditional appassimento (drying) for over 4 months before slow fermentation. Ageing takes place over 24 months in 500L French oak tonneaux, followed by further bottle refinement. The result is a dense, layered Amarone with dark cherry, cocoa, spice and balsamic complexity, framed by polished tannins and a long, dry finish. A benchmark expression of modern, site-driven Amarone.
