    • Description

Rock Ferry, founded by Tom Hutchison and Fiona Fenwick, is an organic Marlborough estate producing wines that highlight place and purity.

The 2023 Brookby Springs Sauvignon Blanc comes from certified-organic vines in the Southern Valleys. Whole-bunch pressing preserved aromatic freshness before the juice was split between a concrete egg and seasoned French oak puncheons for fermentation. The wine then rested on full lees for seven months, gaining weight, texture and subtle savoury detail.

Bright and expressive, it shows passionfruit, guava and lemon zest alongside flinty minerality and gentle spice. The palate is vibrant yet layered, balancing tropical fruit richness with a taut line of natural acidity and a long, refreshing finish.

A distinctive Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that combines varietal intensity with depth and elegance.
