    • Description

Rock Ferry, founded by Tom Hutchison and Fiona Fenwick, is an organic Marlborough estate dedicated to wines of purity and place. The Orchard block produces Pinot varieties that combine freshness with fine texture, ideally suited to dry rosé.

The 2023 Orchard Rose is a blend of 81% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Gris and 9% Pinot Blanc. Grapes were gently pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel, before the wine was matured on lees for six months to add weight and roundness while retaining bright fruit expression.

The finished wine is vibrant and expressive, offering aromas of strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant with a delicate floral lift. The palate is crisp and refreshing, its red-berry core balanced by subtle lees texture and a dry, savoury finish. A precise, organic rose that speaks of both vineyard and variety.
