    • Description

Rock Ferry, founded by Tom Hutchison and Fiona Fenwick, is an organic Marlborough estate dedicated to wines that explore both site and innovative winemaking. The TNT Pinot Noir reflects this ethos, combining traditional techniques with amphora to highlight purity, texture and complexity.

In 2020, hand-harvested Pinot Noir was destemmed directly into terracotta amphorae, where it fermented and matured for six months. The wine was then transferred to seasoned French oak barriques for a further twelve months of elevage, building harmony and subtle savoury depth while retaining vibrancy.

The resulting wine is bright and expressive, with juicy red cherry and raspberry fruit accented by spice and earth. Gentle tannins and savoury complexity shape the palate, leading to a supple, balanced finish with both immediacy and refinement.
