    • Description

Alois Lageder Lagrein Alto Adige DOC 2022 is a benchmark varietal red from this historic biodynamic estate in Magreid, founded in 1823 and now led by the sixth generation. This Lagrein is sourced from low-yielding vineyards around Bolzano and undergoes spontaneous fermentation in open-top vats, followed by 12 months of ageing in a mix of large Slavonian oak casks and used barriques. The result is a deeply coloured, structured red with aromas of black cherry, dark plum, and graphite, complemented by firm tannins and vibrant acidity. A classic Alto Adige Lagrein built for food and mid-term cellaring.
