    • Description

The charming Masseria Altemura is located in Puglia, in the heart of Salento, halfwaybetween the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea. This location allows the crops to benefit fromboth the windy currents coming in from the Ionian, and the typical salinity of the Adriatic.

This territory, which extends within the production area of Primitivo di Manduria DOC, ischaracterized by an unusual luminosity, rich as it is with white stone outcropping on thesurface that reflects the sun's rays and contributes to the maturation of the grapes.

The estate demonstrates its commitment to the land through an astute policy thatcombines contemporary technologies with the recovery of age-old local traditions.Protection of biodiversity is ensured by maintaining and caring for 88 hectares of arableland and 40 hectares of olive groves, which help conserve local fauna and flora.
