Description
Masseria Altemura lies in the heart of the Salento Peninsula, almost equidistant from Puglia’s two seas: the Ionian (20 km) and the Adriatic (16 km), in the famous wine area of Primitivo di Manduria. A unique location where the breezes of two seas meet and contribute to the creation of an extraordinary microclimate. Today the estate extends for 270 ha and encompasses the ancient masseria, the winery, the vineyards and the olive trees in one single unit.
"Another banger from Altemura! Their Falanghina is a bright, expressive white from southern Italy, offering a delightful balance of freshness and complexity. The nose is aromatic, brimming with citrus notes—lemon zest, tangerine—and hints of white flowers, ripe apple, and subtle herbal undertones. On the palate, it’s crisp and vibrant, with lively acidity that enhances flavors of green apple, pear, and a touch of almond. It finishes clean, with a mineral edge that reflects the wine’s coastal origins. Summer in a glass"
