    • Description

Blended from reserve wines aged an average of ten years in seasoned French oak casks, Churchill's 10 Year Old Tawny Port exemplifies both tradition and house style. Grapes are sourced from estate and partner vineyards across the Douro, hand-picked and foot-trodden for optimal extraction. The long, gentle ageing in cask results in a tawny-coloured wine with complex aromas of dried apricot, caramel, walnut, and toffee, accented by orange peel and subtle spice. At 19.5% ABV, the palate is silky and medium-sweet, with layers of dried fruit, fig, and almond, balanced by lively acidity that gives remarkable freshness for a tawny. Serve slightly chilled as an aperitif, with nutty desserts, or classic Portuguese custards, and enjoy a wine that bridges heritage and modern palate preferences.
