      This exceptional tawny is crafted by blending wines with an average age of twenty years, each matured in small, old oak casks in Churchill's Vila Nova de Gaia cellars. Grapes are sourced from old-vine Douro plots, foot-trodden in lagares, and aged to develop signature complexity. The result is a port of pale amber hue and refined aromas of almond, hazelnut, dried cherry, orange zest and delicate wood spice. On the palate, the 20 Year Old Tawny is smooth, mellow and concentrated, with intricate layers of caramel, fig, dried fruit and a fresh, persistent finish. Bottled at 19.5% ABV, it is best enjoyed lightly chilled, either as an aperitif or with rich desserts, pâté or mature cheese.
