    • Description

Collaboration Wines is a boutique Hawke's Bay producer established by winemaker Julianne Brooks, who focuses on small-batch, site-driven wines that showcase balance and elegance. The Impression White is crafted entirely from Chardonnay and highlights the region’s reputation for complex, textural whites.

For the 2024 vintage, Chardonnay was hand-picked from the Kokako/Ohiti and Ascot vineyards. Fermentation occurred with indigenous yeasts, and the wine underwent full malolactic fermentation. It then matured on lees for nine months in seasoned French oak, building texture and layering subtle savoury detail.

The finished wine is refined and expressive, offering apricot, nectarine and citrus alongside brioche and hazelnut complexity. A creamy palate is lifted by refreshing acidity, delivering both richness and precision.
