The Giunta Crunchy Red 2022 is Decibel's playful ode to lighter, chillable red wines, blending Gamay, Pinot Noir and occasionally Malbec from sustainably managed Hawke's Bay blocks. Grapes are harvested early to preserve acidity and undergo partial carbonic maceration in stainless steel, which enhances vibrant aromatics and minimises tannic grip. The result is a bright, ruby-hued red with lifted scents of redcurrant, cranberry, strawberry and wildflowers. The palate is light-bodied, low in tannin, and energetic, with tart red fruit and a crunchy, refreshing finish - best served lightly chilled.
