    • Description

Decibel Martinborough Pinot Noir is crafted from grapes grown in one of New Zealand's most celebrated regions for the variety, where cool nights and gravelly soils deliver Pinot of exceptional clarity and character. The fruit is hand-harvested and partially fermented with whole clusters and wild yeasts to build texture and aromatic complexity. Maturation occurs in French oak barriques, with a careful balance of new and seasoned barrels to complement rather than overpower the wine. Bottled at 13.5% ABV under screwcap, it offers alluring aromas of red cherry, raspberry, rose petal and earth, with subtle savoury undertones. The palate is medium-bodied, elegant and silky, with fine tannins, bright acidity and lingering notes of spice and forest floor. This Pinot Noir excels with duck, salmon, roast mushroom dishes or simply enjoyed on its own, offering both early-drinking pleasure and the ability to evolve gracefully over time.
