    • Description

Organised Chaos is a Hawke's Bay producer crafting small-batch wines that combine precision with a sense of place. Chenin Blanc, relatively rare in New Zealand, thrives here with freshness and texture.

For the 2022 vintage, grapes were given a short skin soak before pressing. Fermentation was carried out at low temperatures with QA23 yeast to preserve aromatics, and the wine was then left on lees for five months to enhance weight and mouthfeel.

The resulting wine is expressive and balanced, showing green apple, lime and chamomile notes. The palate is slightly off-dry, with vibrant acidity giving drive and length, finishing crisp and refreshing. A distinctive New Zealand take on Chenin Blanc, combining varietal purity with subtle texture.
