      The Radford Dale Vinum Stellenbosch Chardonnay 2022 is a finely balanced expression of coastal South African Chardonnay, crafted to highlight freshness, mineral tension and subtle complexity. Fruit from premium Stellenbosch vineyards was hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed before fermentation with natural yeasts in seasoned French oak barrels. Lees ageing with gentle stirring enhanced texture and depth while maintaining a focus on purity and precision. Bottled at 12.5% ABV, the wine opens with aromas of lemon curd, tangerine peel and red apple, supported by notes of struck flint, brioche and subtle oak spice. The palate is dry, finely textured and elegant, delivering layers of citrus and orchard fruit framed by lively acidity and a chalky mineral thread. A saline edge and restrained use of oak lend balance and poise through a long, clean finish. Sophisticated yet approachable, this Chardonnay is ideal with grilled seafood, shellfish or roasted poultry and will evolve gracefully over the next five to seven years.
