Rock Ferry's flagship blanc‑de‑blancs comes solely from Chardonnay grown at Brookby.

The 2018 base wine spent four years ageing on lees in bottle before disgorgement.

Rich yet taut, it balances lemon, green apple and toasted brioche with crisp acid and a fine bead.

    • Description

Founded by Tom Hutchison and Fiona Fenwick, Rock Ferry is an organic Marlborough estate dedicated to authentic, site-expressive wines.

The 2018 Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from certified-organic Chardonnay grown at the Brookby vineyard in the Wairau Valley. After primary fermentation, the base wine was bottled for secondary fermentation and then left to rest on lees for several years, building texture and nutty complexity while retaining freshness.

On release it shows bright citrus and stone fruit notes layered with hints of almond, brioche and mineral detail. The mousse is fine and persistent, leading to a long, dry finish that is both elegant and refreshing.

A refined Marlborough sparkling wine that balances vibrancy and depth - ideal as an aperitif or alongside delicate seafood dishes.
