    • Description

Rock Ferry, founded by Tom Hutchison and Fiona Fenwick, is an organic Marlborough estate dedicated to producing wines with purity and a strong sense of place.

The 2016 Brut Rose is made from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, grown organically at estate vineyards in Marlborough. After primary fermentation, the base wine underwent traditional bottle fermentation and was left to rest on lees for several years before release. This extended ageing has layered richness and savoury complexity over the vibrant fruit.

Aromas of strawberry, cherry and redcurrant are lifted by notes of pastry, almond and subtle spice. The palate is dry and balanced, with fine bubbles, refreshing acidity and a long, savoury finish.

Elegant and food-friendly, this is a refined sparkling rose equally suited to celebration or fine dining.
