    • Description

Schubert Wines, founded by Kai Schubert and Marion Deimling, is a Martinborough-based estate known for organically farmed vineyards and a European-influenced approach to winemaking. The Selection range offers approachable expressions of classic New Zealand varieties with Schubert’s hallmark precision.

For the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, fruit was cool-fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatics. A small portion was fermented and matured in seasoned oak, building subtle texture and roundness without masking varietal purity.

The finished wine is vibrant and expressive, with aromas of passionfruit, lime and cut grass. The palate is lively and crisp, showing fresh acidity, gentle texture and a long, dry finish. A classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc framed with Schubert’s refined touch.
